An Evolving Cosmos Emerges

"No dark fate determines the future. We do. Each day and each moment, we are able to create and re-create our lives and the very quality of human life on our planet. This is the power we wield."
This quote is from the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu in 2016, found in "The Invitation to Joy" at the start of "The Book of Joy."

The above quote is being used because it's at the start of a book I was recently given, and I needed some meaningful message to start the first post of "An Evolving Cosmos," my new Highly Ambitious Blog. Not having a better message handy at 12:30 PM (Eastern Daylight Time in the United States of America, Earth, Sol, Milky Way) on Saturday, 29 June 2019, AD, it seems reasonable to, at least temporarily make use of a life lesson highlighted by these two Perennial Wisdom-seekers.

However, I foresee the above quote being replaced by a Beginning Point more broadly applicable, from my perspective, to the Big Topic of an evolving cosmos. No idea what that Beginning Point might be, and I may end up revising the opening sentences of this post several times over the years as I find words that ring truer, more clearly, and more resoundingly, for me. Finding those true, clear, and resounding words may be one of the guidelines for my ongoing Journey.

Accompanying the caveat that the opening of this blog's inaugural post is likely to change is the logical consequence that the closing of the post will also be revised so as to be in tune with the opening.

The Unquestionable Importance of the quote is quickly forgotten by most humans who read, hear, or think about the general concept captured by the quote.

Therefore, today's exhortation to All is this:
Thoughtfully consider reading the above quote to yourself each morning for the rest of your life, or at least until you find something of higher value to you for starting your day well.
